ANNOUNCEMENT
THE 39TH POLISH SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS AND THE 17TH POLISH JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS IN
FLY FISHING
The Słupsk District of the Polish Angling Association
in Słupsk announces that from 9 to 11 October 2015, on the
instructions of the PZW Executive Board, the Polish Senior Fly-Fishing Championships will take place on the Łupawa River from the village of Łupawa to
Damno, the Polish Senior Fly-Fishing Championships will take place, and from the village of Drzeżewo to the village of Zgojewo – the Polish Junior Fly-Fishing Championships.
The competition base will be located at the NIEZAPOMINAJKA Holiday Centre, Ustka, ul. Rybacka 2a, tel. 59 99 99 99.

ATTENTION!!!!
IT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN TO BAIT FISH BY DISTURBING THE RIVER BED.
The following species will count towards the score: grayling, rainbow trout,
brown trout, roach, dace and ide.
In the
Polish Fly-Fishing Championships, in all categories, the right to
compete is granted to anglers in accordance with the PZW’s Rules for the Organisation of Angling Sport.
Competitors must hold:

a sports licence,
–
a valid medical certificate.
The Championships
will be held in accordance with the Rules for the Organisation of Angling Sport – the Regulations for Fly-Fishing Competitions in the following
sectors:
SECTOR A – 50 m downstream of the power station in Łupawa to the middle of the meadow in Poganice
SECTOR B – 2 km upstream from
Strzyżyno to the backwater in Łebień
SECTOR C – from the railway bridge in Łebień to the road bridge in Damno.
SECTOR J – from the power station
in Drzeżewo to the collapsed bridge in Zgojewo.
Fishing stations:
for two anglers, approximately 250m apart
COSTS OF PARTICIPATION IN THE COMPETITION.
Accommodation and
meals – 200 zł.
– meals from dinner on Friday to lunch on Sunday
– accommodation on the nights of
9–10 October 2015 and 10–11 October 2015
Entry fee for seniors
– 310 zł
Entry fee for juniors
– 280 zł
Total for seniors – 510 zł
Total for juniors – 480 zł
The cost per accompanying person is 280 PLN.
Competitors have the option of
paying the entry fee only.

Entries submitted after the deadline of 18 September 2015 will not be considered.
Please attach to your
entry the results sheet from the Regional Championships, a photocopy of the proof of
payment and a contact telephone number.
TRAINING.
The Łupawa River, on the section
from the power station in Łupawa to the road bridge in Damno, and from the power station in
Drzeżewo to Zgojewo, from 5 October 2015 to 9 October 2015, is to be
closed to fishing for those taking part in the competition (competitors, coaches,
team manager), on pain of disqualification from the competition.

During
training, participants must hold a valid licence for the trout and grayling waters
(mountain waters) of the Słupsk district.
The section
where the competition will take place will be closed to anglers not taking part in the
competition from 9 October to 11 October 2015.
