Invitation
The PZW ‘Belfer’ Angling Club, operating at the Pomeranian Academy in Słupsk,
is organising an open fishing competition on Saturday 23 May 2015 in
the float fishing category at the “Belfer” Branch’s Licensed Fishing Ground in
Redzikowo for the Cup of His Magnificence the Rector of the Pomeranian Academy.
We invite teams of two and individuals from PZW clubs in Słupsk
and the surrounding area. Registrations, made in the participants’ own names, must be submitted by 20 May this year to
the treasurer of the “Belfer” Angling Club, Mr Paweł Skrzypczyk, by telephone on 728473672,
Mon–Fri, 4.00–6.00 pm. The entry fee of 20 zł per person will be collected
at the competition venue.
The competition will be held using live bait in two rounds
in accordance with the Polish Angling Association’s (PZW) sporting fishing regulations, following the
timetable:
Ø assembly and registration – 6.00–6.15
Ø draw for Round 1 – 6.15–6.30 am
Ø preparation for fishing – 06:30–07:25
Ø baiting – 7.25–7.30
Ø Round 1 of the competition – 7.30–10.00
Ø weighing of fish – 10.00–10.30
Ø meal on site – 10.30–11.30
Ø draw for the second round – 11.30–11.45
Ø Preparation for fishing – 11.45–12.40
Ø Baiting – 12.40–12.45
Ø Round 2 of the competition – 12.45–15.15
Ø Weighing of fish – 15.15–15.45
Ø Judging panel deliberations – 15.45–16.15
Ø Announcement of results and prize-giving – 1615
Trophies are to be awarded for 1st–3rd place in the individual and
team categories, as well as certificates for 1st–6th places in both categories.
As the number of fishing spots at the ‘Belfer’ Angling Club’s Licensed Fishery
‘Belfer’ is limited, admission to the competition
.
The organiser advises that the fishing spots are uneven and, for the most part,
making it impossible to use a long rod. The fishery operator
will prepare the spots to the best of their ability; however, competitors
must be prepared for these limitations.
