The PZW District Management Board is organising a float and casting competition on 24 May 2015 as part of
the SŁUPSK YOUTH FISHING OLYMPICS. A competitor’s score will include tests on their knowledge of the PZW’s Regulations on Amateur Fishing.
The fishing competition will be held using live bait at Łabędzi Pond in Słupsk. The
casting events will take place on the grounds adjacent to the Police Academy, whilst the written tests will be held in the lecture theatre
lecture theatre of the Police Academy Shooting Range on Orzeszkowa Street.
We invite teams of three from primary and lower secondary schools
within the area covered by the Słupsk Branch of the Polish Angling Association (PZW).
The competition will be held in primary and lower secondary school categories, with
individual and team classifications. Due to the limited number of fishing spots at the venue, participation in the competition will be determined on a first-come, first-served basis. Competitors should bring their own keepnets to store the fish they catch. A limit of 3 litres of groundbait per competition round applies at the fishing ground. Competitors and supervisors are to assemble at Łabędzi Pond, next to the fountain, on 24 May this year at 7.00 am.
Entries will be accepted at the PZW Regional Office or by telephone on 59/8436341 by 18 May at the latest.
