The District Management Board of the
Polish Angling Association in Słupsk hereby announces that, in accordance with
the Act of 18 April
1985 on inland fisheries, a licence is required in our
waters, and a register of recreational fishing must be maintained, as set out in Part III of the appendix to this licence.
Article 7(2) of the Act:
Recreational fishing
may be carried out by a person holding a document authorising such
fishing, hereinafter referred to as a ‘fishing licence’ or ‘underwater fishing card’
, and if fishing takes place in waters where the fishing rights holder has granted permission, the person must also hold the relevant permit.
2a Possession of
the permit referred to in paragraph 2 is confirmed by a document issued by the
fishing rights holder in the fishing district, specifying the basic
conditions for engaging in recreational fishing as determined by
the person authorised to fish, arising from the need to conduct
rational fisheries management in that fishing district,
taking into account, in particular, economic considerations, catch limits,
the time, place and method of fishing.
The permit may also impose a condition to keep a record of
recreational fishing, and where such a condition is imposed,
specify the manner in which the record is to be kept.
Article 27a
Any person who: does not
hold the permit referred to in Article 7(2), or fails to comply with
the conditions of the permit, or fails to keep a record of
recreational fishing, where the permit requires such a record to be kept,
shall
– shall be liable to a fine
or a reprimand.
